My journey with crystals started in 2014, during a time in my life when I suddenly found myself with a lot of quiet time. I spent my days applying for jobs, meditating, and turning inward. What felt like an unexpected pause became the start of an entirely new path.
During meditation, I noticed something I had never experienced before: I could feel the vibrations of crystals in my hands. I also saw intricate geometric patterns, though at the time I didn't even know what sacred geometry was. Those experiences sparked a deep curiosity and led me to learn everything I could about crystals, energy, meditation, and healing.
Not long afterward, I started volunteering with rescued horses at a ranch. I found myself intuitively doing energy work with them, even though I had never heard of Reiki and had no formal training in energy healing. I simply followed what I felt and what came naturally. Only later was I introduced to Reiki and realized there were established practices that mirrored what I had been doing intuitively.
Eventually, life took me to Utah for a new job. Surrounded by nature, rivers, and water, I had even more time to connect with myself and deepen what was already unfolding.
Later, I accepted a position in Las Vegas, but that job unexpectedly ended after only three months. What felt like another uncertain turn ultimately opened the door to something much bigger.
A friend who owned a hair salon knew I had been studying crystal healing. He cleared out a small storage closet in his salon and encouraged me to finally do the work I had been preparing for.
So I did.
I became a Certified Crystal Healer through Hibiscus Moon, and in September 2015, I opened my doors in that little storage closet offering crystal healing sessions. I named the business Vegas Crystal Healings & More. Crystal healing was its foundation, Las Vegas was its home, and the "& More" was there from the start because I was never offering only crystal healings.
My education continued as the business grew. I went on to become an Advanced Crystal Master through Hibiscus Moon and a Reiki Master, building formal training on the intuitive energy work that had started years earlier.
By 2016, I had outgrown the closet and opened my first storefront. A couple of years later, I outgrew that space too and moved to a larger shop away from the Las Vegas Strip, where the store kept growing to include jewelry, tarot and oracle decks, books, and so much more.
When I launched an online store separate from my website, it needed its own name, and that's how Crystal Fairy Patch was born. Today, Crystal Fairy Patch is the umbrella that Vegas Crystal Healings lives under, and it's how I share this work with people far beyond Las Vegas.
My connection with crystals is still at the heart of everything I do. I personally hand-select about 90% of the crystals in the store, using my experience, intuition, and connection with each piece. Whenever possible, I work directly with miners, mine owners, and the artisans who carve the stones. Authenticity matters deeply to me, and I take great care to know where our crystals come from and to make sure every piece we offer is genuine.
But for me, this has never been simply about selling crystals.
When someone walks through our doors, I want them to feel the energy. I want visiting the store to be an experience, whether someone has worked with crystals for years, is simply curious, or has no idea what they're looking for yet.
I bring that same intention to every online order. Unless you've chosen a specific stone, I hold you in mind as I pick out your crystal, and I let the right one choose you. Each piece is packed with care and sent on its way to the person it was meant for.
What started with meditation, a few crystals, and a storage closet in a Las Vegas hair salon has grown into something I never could have imagined back in 2014.
And after all these years, I still believe the right crystal has a way of finding the right person at exactly the right time.
